San Diego is the first city to offer Novalis Tx with exac-trac. They've only been doing it for 2 weeks. To make a long story short, they can treat a tumor in your lung while you're breathing. They can also treat tumors as small as 3mm. You should definitely look them up. From what the reviews say, this could be a great thing for you. Little to no down time, non-invasive, and extremely accurate.

    Thanks John
    John,

I will definitely look into this. Do you know where in San Diego it's being offered at? Is it through UCSD? I'll check it out.

    Thanks!

Guy on Colonclub had this twice
Jim, who goes by EMBJ, on Colon Club had this with great success and would be glad to talk to y'all about it. I put Jim's info and a link to the Colon Club thread on John's Novalis thread. :- )

Lisa - I don't have speakers at work but there are U-tube videos of this radiation. I just googled it. Also, video showed it is available here in Michigan, at Henry Ford Hopsital, not too far to drive. Wow, learn something new everyday. Wish I had speakers but will have to wait until after work. Thanks for info. Tina

Palomar medical center in Escondido. You should call them right now! Tell me what they say. I'm waiting for a call back. I called the center in Greenville this morning, they sent for my records. I don't think they are using the exact-trac yet. I also just got done exchanging e-mails with maxhealth in mumbai, India. They can do the procedure for less than 20K. I have an appointment with my oncologist on friday. I want to be treated within a few weeks. I guess, if I can't get insurance to cover the procedure in Greenville, I need to get my passport renewed. The nurse I spoke with this morning said she thought the procedure would cost over 100K.

    Cathy might benefit from
Cathy might benefit from this too. Just sent her a note. I forget her username here but she's got a tumor wrapped around the vein.

    $100,000.00
Your kidding right, $100,000.00 for the procedure? What kind of procedures is this for $100,000.00, I thought it was radiation.. Please keep us informed on this, all new to me, as George has multiple lung mets. I got all the liver stuff down but thought we were kinda screwed with both, now maybe not. Tina

'Sunny' is a friend of mine from about 11 years ago. He's an oncologist in India. He spent a year or so teaching in Australia.

His sister is also a doctor and his parents are both dental professors at a Christian dental school in India.

Befriend him and ask questions. He's on my Facebook page. Nice, nice guy. Came to see us several times when he was visiting the U.S. before he married. Almost died from Hep C. The med school used one needle for teaching phlebotomy. He used Interferon and something else and is healed. :- )
