Hi everyone!!
OH! I am reading the Anti-Cancer book. It is difficult for me because we live in such a small town, with only one grocery store, that has very little organic veggies, and no organic meat. We have a garden in Summer, but doesn't help through the rest of the year:(

Hi Cindy. Great news and I am just curious why they didn't do a PET/CT scan.
Small organic farms are all over where I live (Sonoma County, California) so I don't shop for veggies at the grocery store, I go to the farm. There may be some where you live that do not advertise that they sell direct to the public. If you google 'organic farms' + 'your county or town' you might find an option to the small grocery.
Also some larger organic farms deliver boxes for a fee. If you have the means that might be an option for you.
Best,

Very glad to hear about the MRI Cindy. Thanks for sharing the good news.
I have the same problem with organic foods - it's a car trip to get to a good selection of fresh food. I have read that frozen is very often at least as nutritious - hope so.0 -

That is great news!!!! I just received a couple of books in the mail,(Anticancer and 50 essential things to do), so i guess I will learn about the whole organic thing. But still THAT IS GREAT NEWS CINDY!!! Hang in there and we'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Cindy
I am so glad to hear the good news I am jumping up and down ( just to express my happiness)
I agree with Mick if you are going to do organic the best place is to find an organic farm to buy from, it is fresher that way. My daughter gets all her stuff from a little organic farm she found out side of Lafayette, the lady there makes a stuff called Coconut water, I hate it but it sure keep the inside of the body clean.
Take care and God be with you.0 -

What great news!!! A big hurdle you have jumped. Bob (my husband) had his first clean PET scan Jan. 5th and everyday gets better and better for him. We are enjoying life and very thankful. I am about to go to Amazon.com and order the Anti Cancer book. Haven't read it yet and we need to get started on even better nutrition etc. PK0 -

Hi Mick, thanks for trying to help, but, for one, where I live it's basically cold and rainy all year round. We can't even grow tomatoes here in the Summer. I know for a fact that there are no farms or veggie growing here. Unfortunately. BUT! My husband and I will be moving down Island, come this Spring/Summer:)That 5hr. drive makes a hug difference in climate.

We don't have a Pet scanner here on Vancouver Island. The closest place for me to have it done would be Vancouver B.C. On the mainland. I am thinking about going there to have it done. I have heard that it is more accurate than the MRI.

Hi Cindy. Vancouver Island is so awesome. I've spent a few days there hiking. I did a search from Vancouver organic and found these businesses in the south Island. I hope this helps.
