I hate cancer.........

I have been trying to have two root canals done since November. The day before my appointment, I have a CBC done to check my white/red counts. My Gyn/Onc has ruled that I can only have the dental work done if they are 1.5 and 10, respectively. Thus far, no go. My last numbers (yesterday) were .07 (white cells) and 9.2 (red).

My temporary crown came off and the dentist had to make me a whole new one because the original had just plain worn out.

I am not in pain, but it's frustrating, nonetheless. I resent the fact that cancer has such control over my life. I hate that I have to have it's permission/cooperation before I can have my teeth cleaned, or board an airplane.

I hate cancer!

    I hate it too........ the fear, worry and lack of control of my life. I hate chemo with the days after an infusion of aches, pains, constipation, and weakness. But, I think I hate the most what it does to the people who love me.

    I will fight this beast to the bitter end. I will conquer chemo (again!) I will totally enjoy every non-chemo day and I will treasure the people in my life, including all of you my dear sisters in arms!

    I can only echo what you and the other ladies have expressed.

    I hate this monster that has invaded our bodies, uninvited and must be dealt with and destroyed each time it raises it's ugly head.

    I hate cancer too! I also hate root canals! Funny: I am so afraid of the dentist I opt to be sedated to have major work. Now having gone thru major abd. surgery, two ports and chemo treatments....I am still afraid of the dentist and will still be sedated.

    Carlene: I do hope your counts go up so you can get your root canals. A tooth needing a root canal can quickly become a problem and be painful.

    Dear Carlene, I hate all the limitations that come from cancer too.. I have to say don't love root canals either. Hope your cells are back up to par and all is fixed.

    I hate cancer too but it sure helps knowing i'm not alone in this. Hope your counts go up soon. I have been putting the dentist off too since I think I need a root canal and don't want it lol
