This week, my father was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, which spread to his vertabrae, hips and to some of his adrenal glands. He will be doing radiation soon, and afterwards chemo. We are all devastated, but we are trying to be strong for my father. We are purely terrified. Prayers, hope and positive thoughts is all we are leaning against. Pray for my fathers journey to health.

Hang in there
Hang in there, my husband is newly diagnosed as well, (stage 4 lung cancer), he has done whole brain radiation and some chemo and we have already seen results. The spots on his brain and eye are getting smaller. His side effects have been minimal. Try to keep him eating or at least Boost Shakes so he can keep up his stregnth.
So hang in there, appreciate the time you have and stay positive. There are lots of people on this site for support, help and hope.
Praying for you and your family.

Just Keep Positive
All I can say is keep a Positive attitude and help your father keep one, stand together on the battle with this disease. Everyone reacts different to this disease and its treatments, but you will find on this site many people who have had similar experiences.
I can say you on the best site to get answers and support from some of the most compassionate people I have had the pleasure of communicating with. Some things will apply to your Father others wont, Cancer is a very individual disease, and your Fahter may have many or only some of the experiences the rest of us have. But we are here to help You and Your Father through this Journey, you guys wont be alone, some here is always ready to answer a post, some answer may sound scary or even blunt, but thats because sometimes that is the only way to get certain things across.
Our Prayers and Best Wishes to Your Father, You, Your Family and Everyone else,
