My Rocks... Who would have thunk??

A new Cancer center in New Orleans may want to show my rocks and do a small story on me. My brothers GF runs a chemo floor there and I sent her one of my "Cancer Worrior" rocks for her desk. Well, her boos seen it then she called her boos who's like the head of the hospital. They all then looked ...at the rocks I have posted on FB and now they will be calling me sometime in the next week or two. They want to have a place on how people cope with cancer through art. Well as you already know. I NEVER painted anything in my life untill I had cancer and my Mother-in-law started me on painting rocks. I never really colored when I was a kid!! LOL... My cancer and how I cope with it is helping others get through this fight. Who would have thunk???

    That is awesome to hear...Yeah who'd of thunk you can get some rehab (so to speak) from painting a rock...Good luck hope you sell a ton...JULIE

    Congratulations, Brooks , that is amazing! Good for you! I have a book called "Cancer & The Art of Healing" by Marilyn Hundleby & Sherry Abbott. It is all about how art can help heal through the cancer process. It is a beautiful book.

    You shouldn't be that surprised...I mean after all "Pet Rocks" were a big hit many years ago...and they weren't even painted! LOL
