I do not know if she is a member of our discussion board - but we could all have a "watch party" on Sunday!
A fellow cc will be featured on ABC’s hit series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Jan. 31 at 8 p.m. The show was responsible for building a new home for the Creasey family in November 2009. Because of the family's commitment to Relay, during the home build, the local Relay For Life committee, community members, and Society staff hosted a 24-hour "extreme" Relay For Life event. The Relay event was in honor of Tricia Creasey -- mother of three, school teacher, Relay survivorship chair, and team captain. She has been battling cancer since 2006.
On July 17, 2009, she began her current aggressive chemotherapy treatment – every two weeks – and will complete this round just before she and her family watch themselves on the Extreme Makeover Home Edition show on January 31.
Tricia is a teacher at Brown Middle School and her husband, William, works in the information technology department for Guilford County Schools. They have three daughters: Brittany, 13, and five-year-old twins, Makayla and Makenzie.
One way the family has made it through these tough times is by getting involved in the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. Their first Relay involvement was with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, but the next three years, they've been involved in the Relay For Life of Davidson County.
Watch this with mo on Sunday and she how she is fighting back!
My best to each and every one of you!
