My father was diagnosed with stage IV adenoacinoma which has spread to the brain, on December 18, 2009. He just completed 18 rounds of whole brain radiation for the brain tumors. They are doing a MRI today and plan on starting radiation boosters on Monday, which from what I understand, only hits the tumors. He has had one treatment of chemo for the lungs and will go back on the Jan, 27th for the next chemo treatment. So far his major complaint has been fatigue. He also did develop mouth sores and lose his hair.
My father does feel good, but he gets confused and very irritable. He has also been on steroids so that could be contributing to his irritability.
I just wish everyone on here the best! So many of you have been an inspiration to me! Keep up the fight!
