Layne did better today
Right now, he is out with the middle boy, teaching him to drive in the rain. That's pretty amazing...for this strong of a chemo that is upsetting to the tummy. I am very proud of him.
Maybe we will just get those errant cells. Maybe we will kick this thing after all!

Layne
That is so great that Layne is doing all these things. Nothing like grands to perk you up. My oldest grand stayed overnight and we really had fun with her, did not think I could do that much to keep her amused but she is just a great kid. Have to say Layne is made out of the right stuff for sure. Prayers and hopes that the Xeloda will take away any errant cells.

Glad to hear he did better. We were so impressed with how well he was doing. Hope our delicious lunch wasn't too much.
We still haven't heard about the Proton, have a call in, no reply so far. Praying for you both to come through this in the same way you did the rest of the treatment. Using the 91st Psalm as a guide.

But these are ours. Their grandpa on Layne's side gave them the certificates, but they are ours and we still have to finish raising them hehe.0 -

congats Layne and Betty! Good news. Layne has to enjoy these good days and continue to move forward. My dad took Xeloda, and did very well. Hardly had any side effects. Enjoy those kids, and do the most you can with them. Life is too short, so make the best of it. Praise the Lord.
