got the car to the shop fuel pump out $925.00 to repair I almost had a stroke pick it up tomorrow...

    $925 ?


    Yeah. In the old days, the pump was under the hood with the engine.
    Now... it's in the stupid fuel tank. The tank has to be drained and
    removed from the vehicle to get the pump out... time and moolah.

    But $925? How many kids is he sending through college?
    And why? They oughta' do what he's doing; more money!

    well he did replace a head light lol and he said it had a head gasket leak and it would be 500 to fix I said no I can sell it cheaper than fix anything else lol

    WOW, what a deal !

    Too bad it wasn't me he was dealing with, he wouldn't have to
    turn a light on when he squats on the toilet at night...

    Well.... as long as you're back driving and the cars safe, that's
    all that counts.

    The guy that runs the place that works on my diesel knows I have
    colon cancer. He told me that I should have my oil changed every
    500 miles.... haha.. great sense of humor. Figures I won't last
    the 10k... Gotta' laugh 'till it hurts.

    well put it this way I got up this morning and am going to have a suckie cancer day from the start Maybe he will feel sorry for me when I get there and I am going to ask if he gives a senior discount ...LOL

    was a mechanic and that just seems high to me but i am needing 2 motor mounts and it is going to cost me 400.00 for that . i have to pay like everyone else now no more free labor from my honey.

    called o'rielys and the pump was only 300 so he made 600 for labor or 550 he did replace the head light that he said was out LOL
