SO FAR SO GOOD WE ARE STILL CANCER FREE--- OUR JOURNEY IS STILL PROGRESSING ALONG
Just wanted to give you an update, the PET SCAN, showed no evidence of CANCER!!!! YEA!!! the doctor told us today that they are comparing reports and so far so good, there is not any mestatic disease or any fluid floating around or nothing showing up, the only thing showing is where the surgery is still healing from the inside out, he is very well pleased with Jeff's progress, and said he cant ask for a better diagnosis. We are always apprehensive about going, and wondering if they will find something, like William said on a previous post MY BIG GIRL PANTIES sure is having to be used, and pretty soon Jeff will be going every six months, for some reason you always have that thought in the back of your brain, wondering if it has come back, its sometimes is just scary. Dr. said he might might take the PORT out in April, I said don't rush it, but Jeff wants it out why? because he wants to play GOLF!! yes he didn't get to do that last year so he really wants to do it this year, I hope for him he will feel that good to play GOLF!! I know this journey has not been easy walk in the park, but I am not sorry one bit we went through this journey some day we will be at the end of this journey but I am sure we have a ways to go on that, I really wish everyone on this board could have SURGERY, so that they could have a life and move on, but I know there is reasons they cant, and my prayers go out to you. Then there is some contemplating surgery like our newest member BRAD, well I still say have it, its not been easy but you have to have patience and there were days I was ready to throw in the towel and say "FORGET IT I AM DONE" but because I have all of you to vent to, and talk to I kept on moving along. William, if it wasnt for you, and our beloved Kitten, I know I couldn't have done it. I had alot of bad days, crys, and not sure what I was going to do. When I go back to the APRIL FOOLS DIAGNOSIS, it is just a blur now, but we pulled up our BIG GIRL/BOY UNDERWEAR, and moved on with this ugly disease we call CANCER!!!!
Okay to all my CSN family, thanks again for all the prayers, loves, hugs, and just letting me vent and ramble.
Again thanks guys.
Love to you all
