    Remember the line from Mary Chapin Carpenter's song - "Sometimes you're the windshield; sometimes you're the bug?" That pretty much says it all when it comes to cancer. Buzzard's the bug today, but tomorrow he'll be the windshield.

    It's been a rough week for me too. So sad when our friends lose this fight but we'll get through it. Thgether we'll get through it!!

    The feeling my brother, I have been really upset all weekend, and still depressed, it seems nothing is going good for anyone. I am so scared to now go to my onc's tomorrow for my CT results, I have a feeling there is new growth, but we'll see. My cyber arms are wrapped around you, giving you the biggest hug, and holding you while you cry. Anytime you need to talk, I'm here for you, and though the sting is still there, I hope we are all better soon.

    and I took my best friend to the hospital over the weekend-blood clots in her leg. Sometimes it's so hard to keep on digging deep,

    Hi Clift, Its me Lisa, Remember my 84 dad who just had rectum surgery and a permanent colospy bag, well he is finally home from physical therapy. It was bittersweet for him cause they took such good care of him there, and now he is home to start his new life as he says. My sister moved in with him to help him for awhile. We have all been with him every inch of this journey, He is alive and ready to move on and we thank God for that. Life is for the living and we plan on making his life as positive as possible. He cried today and thats ok but I told him to be thankful that he is here and that we Love him. He is afraid his life wont be the same as before, but that is his choice,each day it will get closer to before. So please dont be sad cause you helped me stay strong with your words of wisdom and I will always be grateful for that. Hope to hear from you soon and Hello to everyone!!!!!

    Yeah, must be in the hemisphere, I had a terrible weekend thinking about my job, and then cancer, then my job......never ending!

    I will shrug it off and think of Buzzard :-) feel better....

    Thinking of you...
    Buzzard...thinking of you..cancer certainly has created the wildest roller
    coaster ride of our life but everyone here has helped so much.
