"Oh Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me." (Psalm 30) Thank you Jesus!
Hello everyone, I finally had my first PET & CT scan after my chemo and radiation for neck cancer. (Undiagnosed Primary) The Pet showed NO increase in glucose, and NOTHING lit up!
The left lymph node has returned to normal, and the right lymph node has shrunk to 0.7 cm!
The neck tissue is soft (no mastisizing sp?)no hardening upon physical examination. I needed to share this wonderful news, to thank you all, since I could not have done it without your support, knowledge, and friendship. Even those who I have not had direct contact with, you must know your posts are crucial to other members. I know my journey has not ended, but I feel a sense of a weight being lifted off my shoulders, if only for the time being. (One day at a time..)     That is great news, Pattyanny!! Here's to continuing success. I know well the feeling as I had the good fortune to have been given similar results in my latest Pet/CT scan.

    Patty that is such wonderful news. I am very happy for you. I will have my petscan in six weeks and so I began the long wait. It gives me strength to hear people like you who are cancer free. God bless you and continued good news to you in the future.

    I think the Psalms say it best 23:4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me. Thanks you Jesus for bring Patty through the fire. We walk daily through this darkness but we who believe don’t walk alone. Congratulations and may my Lord continue to watch over you.

    There has been much good news on the site lately!!! I love it. Am so happy for you. This is a wonderful support system and praying for eachother is powerful and comforting, isn't it???? My husband, Bob, just received news after his first scan last week and it too was clean!!!! Keep the faith and celebrate!!!!

    Kurt, I know how daunting the countdown can be! Yikes! But I see from your picture, you are surrounded by love, and you will be kept busy (really busy)with the little ones, which is a beautiful distraction.
