I figured while I'm on the computer I should give you an update on my sister. If you recall, she had had a hysterectomy, but they left her ovaries, one year after having breast cancer. Now her CA-125 count is rising. Apparently her count was in the teens, but has risen to 45. Her ultrasounds looked good- very good news, but I was still a bit nervous for her. I'm happy that her Dr. wants to pursue this to find out why her counts are going up. I think what makes me happiest is that my sister wants to pursue this also. She's been worried about her work and getting the time off to get the tests done. She finally talked to her boss about it and he told her that she's more important than any job!!! Thank God!! That's what Ive been telling her, but coming from her boss, I guess it sunk in. Now THAT'S progress!! Thanks for listening. I wish you all the best.
