Anyone have this "done" to them?

Basically, there is an electrode inserted in the backside, and it is connected to an electric fence that zaps 5 seconds out of every 15 seconds in my case.

The tech indicated that it might make you (temporarily) less continent.........

Kinda concerned that I dont care for this and that it isnt going to assist.

Any opinions/experiences shared would be appreciated.

    My surgeon recommended it
My surgeon recommended it (complete pevlic floor rehab with internal and external stimulation plus other items). My problem is that he is in Austin with several PT that offer it and I am in DFW where none of the PT offer pelvic floor rehab for men.

Please keep posting on your progress and I may search harder. I am 12 weeks post-op and dry tbrough the night but squirt a little when I sneeze or cough unless I urinate about avery 30 minutes.

well, I dont really see any
well, I dont really see any difference (negative) that is may have made. The testing that was done indicated that I am having muscle spasms ( I cant tell that, but the recording device can ). The recording device also indicated that I am at about 50% strength of the kegel measurements that I was pre-op. So, there is room for improvement on my part.

The tech (nice lady by the way) indicated that I would likely only require 1 or 2 more treatments. She indicated that the real improvements are in those that are really heavy weight and/or much older than me ( I am 52 ), and that they require more treatments.

I pretty much do not use pads now, have always been dry thru the nights, and only when passing gas do I seem to also leak alittle. I am fortunate I suppose to be in this situation, but I think that the stimulation has been the most unconfortabe portion of this whole journey !

    2nd visit......
indicated to the tech that I didnt see any improvement, didnt feel comfortable with it, and she indicated, then lets not do any more - I was just hoping for a reduction in the amount of electricity being used - guess that I graduated.

Time now to study for the finals........ the 6 week PSA test.

hope that all is well with the rest of you guys.
