I'm home!

Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes. It seems my body has just been furious with me ever since I had the colon resection. My IBS has gone into overdrive and doesn't seem to be of a mind to let up at all.

My doctor had me go for bloodwork and x-rays. Nothing surgical, like a blockage, showed. So I'm on Vicodin and an anti-nausea medication. At least I didn't have to go to the "big house."

My husband is caring for me in his usual lovely fashion, so I'm hoping to be back in business after a restful weekend.

    Well, that's good news, Gail.

    Those darn bowels - even years after surgery they can act up at any given time and cause such distress - so glad that is all there is.

    EZ going on the Vic's - they can cause a "stoppage" in play :)

    Not always!
    Perhaps not quite always in good spirits. I DID snarl a little at my husband on the way to Wal-Mart earlier. I thought an outing would be fun, but I think I wasn't in the mood, after all. *grins* We're all better now!
