Hello all and Happy New Year,

Well I completed IG/IMRT treatment #25 at 7:15 Friday morning and all is still going very well. Only 10 more to go. No real side effects from the RAD other than a little fatigue in the afternoons. Or maybe it's not fatigue but just my way of taking a nap without guilt for letting the little chores slide for a while.

As I have said too many times to count, you folks have been a real blessing to Lynn and I this year. My journey into the PCa world would have been so much tougher without the wonderful caring and support that you have showered on Lynn and I. We thank you all so much for the time and energy in showering us with your blessings.

Lynn is still doing pretty good following her latest round of treatments. A little lacking in energy, she's been fighting a stubborn cold for the last three weeks. We have meeting with her doctor in January and he is proposing she go back on maintenance chemo-therapy drugs. She's not too thrilled about it but it sure beats the alternatives.

I think my self imposed break from daily postings has given me much needed mental rest and I am now ready to jump back in with both feet. I look forward to interacting with you all again. So as they say, "we'll see you in the funny pages".

With Love and Caring, Lynn and I wish all your dreams and hopes come true in 2010,

Sonny

Sonny, Glad to hear your paths are moving somewhat smoothly for both yourself and Lynn.

In your message above you mentioned some studies you ran accross that indicated that some RAD following Da Vinci even with no positive margins my be prudent and valuable for knocking out possible reoccurance. I have the following stats.

    (4+3) = 7 5%
    (3+4) = 7 10%
    (3+4) = 7 10%
Endorectol MRI with Coil - Indicated the Palpal tumor was Organ confined

Question for Sonny - Part two..the question
I hit the buttom before asking the question. I'd like to know the link to the studies you talked about for RAD post Da Vinci for possible preventitive reoccurance. I want to discuss with my doctor and be informed before doing so.

    Thanks and God Bless!

Randy I'll Send You and Email
    Randy,

Just saw your question and I am on my way out the door to meet a contractor at my in-laws. I will send you an email later today with the links. I need to locate them in my library of PCa bookmarks. It's fairly lengthy and may take a little while.
