Anyone with experience of EBV-Specific T-Cell Therapy for NPC?

We are looking into gettting into a clinical trial of it after the Stage4 NPC relapsed 4-month afer chemo/radio therapy...In a dreadful time now...

    Welcome to CSN, I am sorry to hear your cancer is back, believe me I know to pain and have been there were you are now.

    There are about 5 of us here with NPC all at different stages in life. I am about 7 years passed my first treatment and 4 ½ passed the second. My NPC did come back again in 2006 but there was little that could be offered to me then, I am doing herbal treatment right now, I recommended it as a last resort. It too is not easy as it takes a lot of commitment to a complete life style change Click on Hondo and it will take you to my post; also I have my e-mail address there.

    The doctors at MD Anderson did ask me about doing the EBV T-Cell Therapy a year or so back. But did not think that it would improve what I was already doing, so we kind of held it out in case I took a turn for the worse again.


    I will counsel you to please don’t make hurry up dissension take some time, Consul with all your doctors if you are a believer pray and ask God for advice and to lead to in the right direction.

    Hondo, I had read your posts today and I value your opion greatly. You standing up there is a lot of support to people like us. Belief and faith in God is another pilar for my mind. Will write you periodically to let you know how things are rolling along. Take care, my hero.

    I will always be right here on CSN so please up date me on your progress. Also Kent Cass is another NPC survivor here on CSN, he is a few months out of treatment now and doing great. We try to help and give as much support to other going through this trial in there life.
