For Mrs R re spasms
Oxi causes the spasms in many people. I had my hands spasm a number of times. My eyes did it as did my lips. Kathryn in M. had quite a problem with it. She's in Mexico so may not see this right away.... but I'm sure she'll help when she does.

Spasms
Mrs R
I have had spasms sort of with my hands. I might just be sitting and all of a sudden you can feel them start to "buzz" and then there are some small spasms. My mouth and face spasm also. I asked the Onc about it last friday and she said she knew about the hands but had not heard about the mouth. (Finished with 5 out of 12 treatments with folfox) I know there are others who have talked about mouth/face spasms so I knew what they were when they started.
I love this board because collectively they know so much.
Best wishes

Grace, what stage are you? I'm surprised you're only getting 5FU.

Sure does.
I never said anything to my onc about the spasms because I'd had seen people mention them here and I did not want him to take me off Oxi. However, he reduced it one time and the spasms were a lot less intense.0
