Cramping, bloating, nausea

Thank you for all your comments, thoughts and for keeping me on track here. No, my onc explained that the cysts are common and has not ordered any additional tests. My CAT scan report lists 3 stable cysts of varying sizes and 1 hypodensity in my liver, but then says "otherwise normal liver". Since he said it was normal or common I haven't given it much thought (can you say "denial"? LOL) but I'm pulling my head out of the sand. My onc has recommended that I see a urologist (I'm seeing him today) and if he can't figure out why I'm cramping, then I'm off to see a Gastro-guy. In addition, thanks to y'all, I've decided to be a little less passive and give my GP & my regular Gyno-guy a call and see what they have to say. One thing I'm learning: fear can make an otherwise fairly intelligent person (me) do some pretty stupid stuff (like ignoring something, hoping it will go away). I'm still not convinced my symptoms are not caused by the titanium clips, since I had a bad reaction to titanium before, but regardless, I need to get to the bottom of this. My life just may depend on it. Thanks for reminding me of that - and for just being here with me.
Hugs to you all
Cecile
Good luck on your urologist visit. We all need to be pro-active on our care and listen to our bodies. Prior to being diagnosed, I had several infections and in my case was probably my body giving me warning signs. However, I am very pron to kidney infections since a child. I actually had a kidney removed because of untreated infections.
Just a little info regarding the urologist. Mine in FL does and ultrasound at each visit to check on the bladder and kidney. They may order some further testing to make sure all is well.
Good luck.

Am so glad that you are back in the detective mode!! Sounds like you are going to track things down and get to the bottom of your symptoms! I am so happy to hear that!! Keep us posted!

Hi Everyone!
Just a quick update: I've seen a urologist and he's prescribed Sanctura XR, thinking my symptoms could be over-active bladder. I've been on it for about a week and the only change is a slightly sharper pain in my lower right pelvic area. Hmph. I will stay on this med for the prescribed time and hopefully it will work, but even the Doctor didn't seem to think it was OAB. I also saw my regular gynecologist, who assured me that my pelvic exam was perfectly normal and he didn't feel any hernias, which made me remember that just a few weeks before I started cramping, etc, I had started working out at Curves at least 3 times a week...maybe it's just muscle strain. A word about the liver cysts...I've asked 3 doctors now about the findings on my CT scan and everyone of them say they're normal, just liquid filled sacs that are not uncommon at all. SO...long story short, I'm still looking for an answer to my symptoms, but feel very optimistic about their cause.
Hugs!

My turn to give you an uplifting word. Glad everything seems ok but that you're still looking for answers to your symptoms.
