    Question
I'm not sure what you are asking? Have you been checked for colon cancer? Tina

you can still get screened (hopefully) without insurance
    Hi,

I'm not sure what you are asking either. Have you tried contacting any doctor's office or medical clinic about getting some bloodwork done and/or a colonoscopy done? Have you been seen by a doctor about this at all yet?
If you haven't, start calling your local doctor's office or county or city medical clinic to make an appointment. The guidelines I believe are different state by state as to who qualifies for screening as someone who is either not insured or is considered "poor".
What state do you live in? Maybe someone on this board is familiar with the current laws and guidelines in your state. You CAN'T not go get screened just because you don't have insurance. Is it possible for you to purchase or somehow get insurance, even if it's temporary to get into the doctor? You may discover that you do NOT have cancer. There are many reasons why people have symptoms that can mimic colon cancer. Rectal bleeding is a common symptom that causes alarm. Although it is a symptom of cancer, it is also a symptom of hemorrhoids, anal fissures (cuts in the rectum/anus that can be caused by straining, and/or hard feces). What ARE your symptoms?

Let us know more details so that we can help you.

    Blessings,
    Lisa

I hope you will check out some of the possibilities mentioned in answer to your previous post. You need to find out what's going on.

Please let us know what you find out.
