Al and I are in need of Prayers!

Hi Everyone,

As most of you know Al has either a compression fracture or mets to his lumbar spine. We have an appt tomarrow with the oncologist. They are having a hard time scheduling the biopsy
which will determine what this truely is. We are both very anxious in the fact that they are
having such a difficult time getting this scheduled.

Al is convinced that he's dying he is getting depressed and it is becoming difficult for me
to keep his spirts up. We have gone through to much for him to give up now I think that he is
just frustrated at the fact they are having such a hard time in scheduling this procedure.

He has lost 7lbs due to the back pain. I am really trying to stay positive. I understand that
he is in alot of pain.

I need prayers please!! We need to get this biopsy done and for it to be negative so that
they can repair the fracture so that get on with our original game plan.

While we have had our share of bumps in the road. This is a big old Pittsburgh Pot Hole!!
Our appt is for 2:00 pm tomarrow.

    Just said a prayer for you and Al and will continue to keep you both in my morning and evening prayers. It's too early in the year for pot holes! So we will just view this as another little bump in the road! God Bless you both....and stay strong!

    Pain can change your attitude...and make you so depressed. I'll pray that Al will be relieved of pain and that you will get answers very soon. I am so sorry you are going through this.

    Why can't they schedule a test!????---they are complicated tests, but it is frustrating as a family member why things can't move quicker!!! You mind starts to play tricks on you as you wait---but don't let it!

    Sometimes though--it just works out for the best---so I pray for that--- with you & Al. I know back pain can be so difficult--since it is so central in your body and you use it will almost every movement--one can hardly "put it out of their minds"!!! I pray it is just a compression FX and not mets... keep positive--I know this may sound weird, but it can always be worse... We are here with you (C S N !!!)
    you & Al will not be far from my thoughts...

    Oh Kath, I'm sorry you guys are having to deal with this!!! I'll be praying for you now and again at 2:00!!! Stay strong and positive for Al, believe me I know it's hard!!! Hang in there!!
