Spilling the beans on Craigs gift!!

:):):) It was so hard to wait to say how much I loved the christmas CD filled with the best Christmas music you could ask for. I will bet your favorite Christmas song is on this CD. We all listened to the songs together. My husband thought it was so thoughtful that you would take the time to make a CD and send it to so many people. I told him these are my peeps and they are like family to me. My kids thought you were so nice to do this for our family and it brought smiles to all of us! You are such a wonderful person Craig, I value you so much as a dear friend, spending the time it takes to choose the music, buy the cd's, and make this for all of us, at such a wonderful time of the year is just so touching to me. I listen to it everyday, just this evening my daughter said hey Mom lets put Craigs music on while we eat dinner. My kids know you now and you are a part of our family. My brother calls me from Tennessee and asks how you are doing. He is a lurker, but was the one that found this site for me, and told me there were such caring people on here, and encouraged me to post. Boy am I glad I did! I wish for you and your wife to have a very Merry Christmas and Happy and hopeful New Year. Patti (It's really fun to get things in the mail)

    LOVE IT TOO!
    When I got Craigs CD it just so happened that was "put the christmas tree up" day. SOOOOO...what you think we all listened to.... and danced to.. while we were decorating???? Yep.... that good ole Christmas music. We never had a Christmas CD. Now it is incorporated into our annual festivities! Thank you so much Craig...... love you my friend!

    It was a very pleasant surprise to receive that - my favorite type of music and what more could you ask for with that many songs in a row with no interruptions :) Ditto on my PM to you also. That was awesome and so thoughtful.

    I can now spill beans now right? Awww Phil, what your missing LOL...I know you got one heck of a nice CD ;) Now we need a CD of Phil and Craig playing and singing for us.

    Christmas music is so magical to me, it brings the spirit out of me and my family, and that's what this has done, what beautiful music, I can listen to Christmas music any season, any day, everyday, this was very thoughtful and heartwarming, and me going through a bad time, I was able to smile and cry of joy at the same time.

    This was the best gift I have gotten in a very long time, and I thank you Lion, it really made my day getting this, and the kids and hubby love it. My kids and hubby know you too, since I showed them your expressions page and what you been through, and told them about the robot surgery, they are so into your story, which gives them hope for me.

    Thank you again my sweety, my lion, and I will be calling soon, this was most precious.

    That is a great gift to send. It was my guess too (Is there a prize, like a trip around the world, for that?) That was really thoughtful of you, Craig. A friend of mine did a Chritmas CD a few years ago as a gift & it is probably my favourite CD.

    I echo what the others have said!

    In our house, Christmas music is on from the time we get up til we go to bed. It's also on the car. We love Chritmas music.

    Your CD is special to me because of the time and love you put into it but also because the artists on the CD are from my childhood! What a sweet surprise! What memories it brings back!


    Rudolph is only a 'little' older than me.

    OH MY GOODNESS! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The kids and I were leaving and they love to check the mailbox. But today was different, you have never seen two 4 year olds, acting like crazy fools, jumping out of their car seats dancing to music. They have been asking for Christmas music all week and I keep telling them I don't have any and we search the stations for tunes. Well! today, I got to pop the CD in the player and we went to town, dancing and singing, happy as can be. What a wonderful and thoughtful gift you have given all of us. Your card made me cry. So sweet!

    When we stopped at the mailbox we were on our to pick my husband up from work, when he got in the car he was in a pretty bad mood. Half way home, his mood starting changing, we are almost home, he has turned the music up very loud and in a GREAT mood.

    The spirit in which your gift was given can be felt everywhere.

    What a heartfelt gift. Like Jennie we were taking Christmas stuff out of the attic today when your gift came. I opened it right away and popped it in the cd player. I immediately felt the spirit of the season come over me. The song selections were perfect. As I unpacked the decorations I realized I was singing along. I stopped and savored how light hearted I felt. I had not been in the mood for singing earlier this morning. I was having a little pity party. Well you changed that into a grateful to be here to celebrate the birth of Jesus with my loved ones party. This year that includes you my friend. My son dropped by and I told him about the cd and showed him the card and your "picture". He was touched by your kindness, as was my husband. Thank you so much. You are truly a special guy.

    CRAIG IT IS SO THOUGHTFUL OF YOU TO TAKE THE TIME TO MAKE THE CD OF CHRISTMAS MUSIC. I TRULY ANM TOUCHED BY YOUR KINDNESS. AS WE HEAD BACK TO NASHVILLE TOMORROW ..OUR WEEKLY TRIPS NOW FOR THE CLINICAL PHASE 1 TRIAL MY HUBBY IS IN...WE WILL BE LISTEN, LAUGHING AND SINGING TO YOUR FANTASTIC CD. IT MEANS EVEN MORE TO US SINCE IT CAME FROM TEXAS WHERE WE ARE FROM. WE LIVE AND WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL IN WASKOM TEXAS WHICH IS 15 MILES FROM SHREVEPORT LOUISANA.     Thank you so much everybody! I'm going to give it a few more days as there are still a few
    packages trying to make their way across the border to Canada and another package heading over the big pond to England. And there are still a few still enroute here in the U.S.

    Me, Santa, and the Elves, made about 42 packages all in all for all the great people on this board. Rudolph and U.S. Postal Service took care of all the deliveries and are still working OT to get them to your homes. I want to give things enough time for everyone to receive their packages and get a chance to post if they choose to do so.

    After that, I'll get to tell you what the Christmas Project meant to me and why giving you this "gift" will always resonate with me for the rest of my life.

    I've enjoyed reading all of your responses - it makes it all worthwhile! From what I've read
    this gift has had "healing" powers in many homes and that's what it was all about.

    As it turns out, the gift turned into "MAGIC" and we'll talk about that very soon.
