taxotere treatments stopped

Oh, my . . .
this sounds scary. If you're anything like me, you want them to do _everything_ possible to ensure the cancer can't spread! and you want your body to cooperate with the treatment.
I don't have the same situation, but I definitely empathize with your concerns, and I'll be praying for your strength and continuing improvement.
Hugs. Sandy0 -
czsteve I too had to stop taxotere, breathing issues
Mine was to shrink the cancer, which it was doing. I am taking amoxifin to continue. My chemo infusions were also stopped 3 months early and I have had no growth.
FTR It is infammatory bc, it was 5cm, it is now less than 2, and has still shrunk!
I know it is not the same but maybe this helps.
Hang in, talkmore to your onco as you need. Peace0 -

No, I have not had the Neulasta shot. I will be asking my Onco. for sure. Sometimes I wonder if she is a good enough Onco. for me. Thanks for the input.0 -
Neulasta
I just finished the taxotere in Oct. I had other side effects with eyes (see eyelashes post dec. 10). However, when I had my first round of chemo, the nuelasta shot was a MUST by the onc to keep the blood counts up.
I am in rads now and have been doing more research again, take a look at vitamin B17 or Laetrile, I know they say you can read alot of bull but what I have been reading is making sense. There was an hour long segment I utube I saw last night.
I think the Web MD sight you can ask questions or chemo.com?? Hope this helps.0 -

Haven't had your kind of treatment but that is one of the drugs my surgeon thought I might have along the way. So sorry you can't continue on with it since it seems to be a choice many drs. prescribe. Talk with your onc and see what else they are thinking will help. Wishing you better days and let us know how it goes for you.0 -
