great thread!Kathleen808 said:What do I really want?
This is fun to think about. On the trivial material side I would like iphones for our whole family. I would also love a spa day.... actually a spa week with yoga, surfing, manicures, massages and delicious healthy food.
But of course the only thing I truly want is for my family to be healthy. I want **** to be cancer free and Katie to stop having seizures and for her to life to be filled with joy. I want Jacqueline to not have to worry about her dad and her sister. That's what I want, for my family to be filled with joy.
I wish for great health and all cancer to be gone for each and every one of you.
Aloha,
Kathleen
I would wish for everyone to recieve what they asked for!
I already got my gift, well most of it. I went home for Thanksgiving, and spent a wonderful 4 days with my family, as nutty as they are. I missed my dad so much. My yougest brother and I had a long heart to heart and straightened out alot of old feelings. We had a "burning of the table" ceremony and laid those feelings to rest. Yes, we really burned the table that we sat around as kids - mostly our other brother sent it flying. I went to my 30th reunion and remembered why I didn't like those people in school! Once a cheerleader always a cheerleader. For those that watch heros - let the cheerleader go!
My oldest son came home with us. Tonight Nick, Carl, Mandee, and I are decorating the tree together. I can't wait. The only one missing is my youngest, who unfortunatly is in a program in Florida. He gets released in February, and I believe he will be coming here also. For the first time in his life he made honor roll, even got an A in algebra. As sad as I am about where he is and the reasons for him being there, he is excelling in school (and I always knew he had it in him!).
I can't afford too much under the tree for them this year, especially after this trip, but I have what matters most to me.
I wish for everyone to be happy and at peace for this Holiday season, and to enjoy those that are important to you.
Love you guys - Sherrie0 -

First, reading all of these brings tears to my eyes. I too wish I could grant all of your wishes. It is humbling to read this board, the things people wish for, the things people are grateful for, the kindness of people, it makes you realize how petty the things are we sometimes and often worry about. I wish health for all of you here! I hope there is a cure someday for this awful disease, I wish there were more answers as to the causes of the disease, I wish there was more help for everyone suffering from a major illness.
Now, if I won the lottery I would wish for:
A warm tropical vacation with all of you
An Endless supply of bones to keep my puppy busy
New clean super soft sheets for my whole family
Blessing to all of you here. You have all given me such hope and inspiration. Marie0 -

I used them during treatment. I think it was for 6 free cleanings...AWESOME.
Hopefully they have a location that offers it in your area. I would love to make your wish come true!

To have my 20 year old home for Christmas and to have enough money to support to father so he never has to work another day in his life and spoil him rotten.

What I want
Well I can honestly say I dont want anything for myself, but I have always been like that. I get more pleasure giving. I would want what ever makes everyone here happy. I think this subject is great, I sat and read all the posts and I can just picture everyone smiling as they typed their posts, and that just warms my heart. For those few minutes it took, no one thought of the beast and the bad things that come with it, and I think for those few moments our hearts were filled with love, peace, and warmth. That in itself is a Christmas Wish come true. Merry Christmas to all...
God Bless
