Marc, you will come out of this in good health. You already beat this disease once.Had mine this past Monday. The surgery hasn,t bothered me as much as the nuisance of the Cath. We all adapt to it soon and I know you will to.I will include you in my prayers tonight also.

Marc - Best wishes. Do not worry - you will be fine. This will be a cakewalk compared to your situation 11 years ago. The worst part is the catheter in my opinion, and that's really just a nuisance that keeps you tied down for a few days. Get lots of DVD's to pass the time, drink tons of water, take your stool softeners, eat lots of fiber, and enjoy the down time. You should be feeling pretty darn good by Christmas (actually, sooner - when you get the cath out). Be nice to your wife cause she's going to be busy helping you for a while God bless. Jim.0 -

I was talking to one of the SQA guys at work the other day, he had it done 5-6 years ago.
He indicated that we were going to startup a Prostate free Zone at work. There sure seems
to be a rash of it lately.......... must be something in the water.

Good luck and all the best. Mine was Dec 3rd and I'm recouping fine. Hardly any pain related to the surgery other than a sore tummy where the punctures were done.
We'll be praying for you and your Doctor.
Keep us posted once you get home.
