PET/CT results today.....Drumroll.....NED!.... NED!.....NED!

Pinch me.. I think I'm dreaming!!! I was floored when the onc said "well, according to scan results... you have NO cancer left in your body...anywhere!" WHAT?...WHAT? Shut-up! no.. he was serious. He said that 2 tiny tiny spots showed up in the lungs but did not light up and were read as dead tissue being dissolved by my body. WOW! I have screamed and danced ever since then. Dang near wore myself out.... but I can't stop! At first I really didn't believe it. I had to see scan and report and finally it started sinking in.

I know with the billions of cells that invaded my body that there is always that possibility of it coming back. We all know that. BUT.... I can honestly say I DO NOT HAVE CANCER TODAY!!! ... and if it only last 1 day.... that is one day I feel free from the beast!

Onc. said I have to be weaned from chemo. No quitting all at once. He cut a few things out of my cocktail.... one of them being the one that made my hair fall out.... yeah!!!..maybe I will get hair back soon. he also took 5FU push away and made treatments every 3 weeks instead of 2. It will stay like this for 6 weeks..then CEA levels to see if all still well...if so more will be discontinued until finally...NONE!

I just can't believe I went from that baseball size tumor in my colon that had burst thru the wall and attached to abdomin wall... to 4 liver mets.. one of which was very large and on a vessel... and finally 15 mets spread throughout my lungs and 3 were very large... to NONE!

Persistance... hope...faith... my family...you people (luv u all)... and most of all God. I got my miracle. I have been blessed. NEVER..NEVER..NEVER give up. I am here now and always for you. If I can ever do anything for my semi family.... please let me know

Hummmm... I am thinking it's vacation time..... YA THINK???? LOL
