May I just say......
I posted on the bone cancer forum here as I know how dedicated everyone is here on this forum about responding. Thinking that they would be as helpful as you guys have been. Anyway, I posted this morning and not one person has answered my basic question as to treatment options. I knew when I first logged on here when DH was diagnosed with colon cancer stage III that I could count on you guys for help and good information. I hope that eventually someone will respond on the bone cancer question I had.
I try to answer any questions that I feel qualified to answer re: my DHs side effects and to offer hope. If I don't feel qualified to answer or respond, I leave it to you folks. I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your concern, help and prayers you so willingly offer. Thank you.

Hi Sandy,
The bone cancer
Hi Sandy,
The bone cancer board seems like a really really slow board- I mean their total posts are only a fraction of what is posted on this board. And yes, I agree that this board is a happening place to be. I totally enjoy the people on the board- and totally love the connections that have been made. I think most of us agree that through the support we give to each other as well as new people, that we bathe ourselves in faith, trust and love.0 -

You have been just as much help as anyone here...This is what we do it for so that people will still have faith in each other and to really help guide newbies through the difficult journey, its the thanks like you just gave that make it worth it to me and the thought that I may have helped someone get through the day a little easier. Its all about reassurance and giving people what they want , the truth, in layman's terms...Thank you , that means a lot, Buzzard0 -

I get out of it far more than I put into it
and I know you do to buzzy- I can hear it in your words with every single post. It is rather like the AA approach- we affirm ourselves, our travels and trials by what we give to others. Or something like that0 -

Cancer is cancer to me, no matter where it is, and if people want to post here who don't even have colon cancer, but some other type of cancer, just to even talk about it, we're here, we're all sisters and brothers in it, and maybe someone here is suffering the same thing your friend, or hubby, or anyone, we can all try to make a difference and put a smile on their face, and find out what we can for them, we just like them to know they aren't alone, and love meeting new people, and keeping them like we all are here, bringing them into the family!
Hugsss!

I'm glad that you found peace coming to these boards when your DH was diagnosed and now feel compelled to coming here again. I'm sorry that the bone cancer board is not more active, but I believe it is because colorectal cancer is more prevelant. As far as treatment goes, I have no clue. Even colorectal cancer treatments can differ depending on where it is and what stage and how aggressive they want to treat it. You are a wonderful person to try and help others while your husband was going through treatment so thank you for your support. I'm sorry I can't help you with the other treatment, but know that here you will always find support.
