my husband had it 10 yrs. ago. it lasted less than 5 min. the preparation time took much longer. things may have changed but he was put in a halo made to his measurements then secured on the bed of the machine and zapped. i will say that he was very tired but he had been beaten up by 5 weeks of radiation previous to this. it did shrink his tumor.0 -

I guess I should consider myself fortunate, this is the only radiation I am going to have right now. From what I've read, most people don't have any problems afterwards. I'll have to post pictures of me in my halo after the procedure. Thanks for your reply!0
