there seems to be a few old timers around today so I'll just ask this question. Does anyone have burny burny itching. If I get too hot my arms and trunk burn and itch....I want to scratch but it doesn't help.

Also my nose still drips, drips drips

anybody out there leftover over with either of those.??

Thanks,

mags

    Yes!
My nose is constantly leaking! it has been since chemo, and actually each time I yawn, tears will come flowing more then usual, I just seem to be a fountain now ;)

    eyes
hi Donna....yes I forgot eyes...I am 6 months out from chemo now but when I wake in the morning I have about an hour of drippy eyes and the tears sting like crazy....still sometimes cracks in the corners. How toxic does that suggest the drugs are....????

Glad to know I'm not weird.
Glad to know I'm not weird. I got a runny nose for over a week first cycle and have it again - and my eyes are tearing more than normal too. Glad to know this is normal.

    It was 5 years ago...sorry....
I don't remember...darn chemo brain!!! And I was so sick with every side effect (hey, I DO remember a big thing just where my glasses rested on my nose...), that maybe I blocked some...

Sounds like you have your answer already, tho...

    Hope it gets better....

    Hugs, Kathi

    we're both
at about the 6 month mark - and yes - it takes me about an hour of wiping my eyes and blowing my nose until I can get contacts back in my eyes - again, I thought my allergies got worse, wasn't even thinking that the chemo could still be causing trouble - on the other hand, lets talk about the hands and feet....arghhhh - very frustrating!

    Not much itching but,
I get the other usual allergy effects (runny nose, watery eyes.) I actually sneezed alot a couple of days after being hooked up. I'm chaulking it up to that damn oxi, or just seasonal allergies? I did see a noticable difference when I took Benadryl though, might want to try that.
