H1N1 Question
Does anyone know if I can get H1N1 from someone who has been vaccinated, or if my 3 week old grandson can get it from him? (My son does not live with us, he is married and a brand new daddy.)
any info is appreciated.

I got the shot
for H1n1 at my doctors office, I asked the nurse before she gave me the shot it it was going to make me sick and she said no, because it was a dead virus, whatever that means. I took it at it was not a live active virus in the shot they gave me. Might want to ask your doctor about this.

Thank youPatteee said:My understanding is the mist
My understanding is the mist vaccine is a weakened live virus and the chance of getting the flu from someone who has had the mist vaccine is very very low, think I read somewhere like 2 percent?
Thank you, I think it is o.k., 2% is not a large amount. My son did tell me tonight that the pediatrician suggested he and his wife get the mist vaccine.
All is well

was a couple kids in my daughter's 7th grade class who got the mist, and ended up getting the swine flu anyway. I don't trust those shots.

I don't trust that shot. Nor the flu shot to be honest. Haven't gotten either one. I had my NaturalPath put me on alot of supplements though. Rather do those than the shots.0
