low dose naltrexone

i was wondering if people have heard of low dose naltrexone treatment?

i was reading an article about a man with colorectal cancer, and a number of people mentioned in the comments section, that he should try it.
heres one of the comments below:

This is the ideal case for someone to take advantage of the safe drug Low Dose Naltrexone. For many who use it, they find their tumours stop growing and even shrink. It rebuilds the immune system by boosting your endorphins but most important for cancer, it produces met-5-enkephalin which is the endorphin that controls cancers. Why this drug is not already the first do no harm drug of choice here is baffling except that it is out of patents nefore this use was discrovered, and very cheap.
If you think this drug needs approving too, go to the LDNNow website and sign the petition and do watch the Dr Chris video about LDN. I have MS and use it, but if I had cancer I would definitely want to try this safe drug first.

and this : I know its hard to deal with such bad news, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. My wife was given 2 to 6 months, 14 months ago with Non Small Lung Cancer. She done the chemo with little to no success and then I got her on Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). We used Cyberknife to get rid of the big tumors and LDN shrunk the small ones. There is a protocol to follow with vitamins and ALA and LDN.

and this :Simon, I too was given an incurable diagnosis well over three years ago, I started taking the little known drug Low Dose Naltrexone, I was told I only had 6-12 months so I know how you must have felt. However, like you, I looked elswhere, please read about Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) it might be just the thing to save your life. I might add, your Dr won't have heard of it given as a low dose, please don't be put off by this, you can always get it privately, it will boost your immune system and help your body to rid it self of these unwelcome invaders. Please have courage, you are already looking outside of 'the box', see if you can take more steps, I wish you luck!
