CAT on Thursday

Dear Friends,
As Rob so beautifully wrote we are all somewhere on this journey and this week brings something new.

**** has had 3 rounds of Folfori + Avastin since they found that 1 nasty lymph node in September (3 weeks after finishing 12 rounds of Folfox 6). He will have a CAT scan on Thursday to see if the new chemo has destroyed or is destroying the cancer in that lymph node. We are both scared. We both feel hopeful but wow, the unknown just creeps up on you. We are asking for prayers for destroyed cancer, faith, strength and grace.

I'll keep you posted and thanks to each one of you for remembering us.

    I will wish for destroyed cancer. Faith, strength and grace will have to take care of themselves. Hope that will do.

    May I share a verse, since I know you are both devout Christians...

    Hebrews 2:14-15 Since the children are made of flesh and blood, it's logical that the Savior took on flesh and blood in order to rescue them by his death. By embracing death, taking it into himself, he destroyed the Devil's hold on death and freed all who cower through life, scared to death of death.
