Yes to nausea
Dear Contrail,
I've been on Tamoxifen about a month and a half and while I haven't experienced actual stomach pains, I have experienced nausea. It's nothing drastic, but enough so that I don't want to eat a lot and I can't stand drinking plain water. I'm going broke drinking Perrier water! It is subtle, but I have noticed a difference.
Have you talked to your onocologist about it? I would call and ask. I haven't done so myself, the symptoms seem too mild, but yours are bad enough, I think I would call. Nausea is listed as one of the side effects, but I would definitely ask your onocologist since you're experiencing such pain.
Let us know what you found out.
Take care,

I'll be seeing my oncologist on November 18th and I definitely plan to ask him if this is a normal reaction or not. Thanks for your thoughts. It just amazes me how differently we each react to these meds. Your aversion to plain water is one I haven't heard of before. I can't seem to get enough water (as long as it's COLD). I'll post what I find out after my appointment. Thanks again. Connie0 -

Please do ... I'd love to hear what he has to say. It is strange, isn't it? We're all so different. Take care! dh.0 -
no to nausea
but I seem to have a headache - not very bad but just enough to notice. I never had them before. Also, if I sit or lay in one position too long without moving around I get stiff - and my legs seem to be a little crampy - all of this not super bad, just enough to notice and be uncomfortable. I'll be anxious to hear what your Dr. says about the nausea/tummy hurt. take care -
