ONE YEAR!!

Went to the Oncol on Wed. for my three month and was presented with a one year survivor pin... My chest x-ray is normal and clean, CA125 went up alittle but they are not concerned, it's that time of year with my arthritis and inflammation. Just waiting for pap results but doc says everything looks great... She said I can have lots of cookies over the holidays. She said "we all deserve cookies during the holidays"!

Yipee, ONE YEAR AND A LIFE TIME TO GO!!!!!!!

    Aloha Marge I rejoice with you; staring down the one year mark myself; 11/26/08 marks the last time I had chemo; I see the onc 12/9; looking forward to celebrating out loud this season; had Thanksgiving already with my kids in CA in the park; great time, dinner and all the fixings; best wishes Marie

    Hey dancing Marge, you don't know how happy I am to hear that from you and you will go on dancing through more holiday's and eat lots more cookies like the doc says we all deserve cookies over the holidays. Keep those happy feet moving!!!!!!!

    That's the best sign there is. I wish you the best, and more of the same in the future.
    I love the idea of a pin, there's a bit of internal happiness that always goes along with winning a ribbon or trophy or pin. Internal happiness, that smiling inside when no one is looking, has to be very good for what ails you.
