last chemo yesterday!
my first ct scan is 3 weeks from now, so the long wait begins, the new doc did say that with the agressive nature of my cancer, (stage 4b grade 3 endometrial) she would not be surprised at recurance but I could be one of the few that never gets recurance ever so she is very positive! and told me a lot more than first rude doc ever told me, also said 24 hr if there is any problems CALL US, the exact opposite was drilled into me by first doctor!
any how just wanted to give every one an update.
praying everyone is doing well out there in syber space

GREAT NEWS!!
Cathy....first of all, great news that you have had your last chemo.....start celebrating as soon as you are feeling perkier!
The BEST news is that your dr. finally heard you and made the arrangements to transfer your care to a more compassionate provider. That will make a world of difference for you I am sure and I know how happy this must make you! I can't imagine struggling through all of this only to have to deal with rudeness! That just is not right!
Be well....and have happy thoughts!!!

Lovely to hear from you again. University of Michigan is the tops. Great team effort up there. That's where Dr. Liu is doing her research. They are so on top of things. You are very lucky. I can't even say how happy I am for your good fortune.
Love and kisses,

Cathy,
I can't believe you actually got Dr. Lui!! I hate to say it but I am envious, truly.
Ask her about her research on ginger after you take a look at it on line. She is quiet famous and has won some awards.

Yeah for you
Hey CathyK, so glad to hear you are done and here is hoping you will not have to have more in the future. How do you feel so far? I can't stand rude doctor's they make you feel so stupid sometimes and that just makes it worse as far as our mind set goes. I hope you find your warm and fuzzy doctor soon.
Sending strong healthy vibes your way.

Persistance paid off. I don't understand how anyone would go into oncology with that kind of attitude! Talk about rubbing your fur the wrong way! You sound happier and able to enjoy each day now. Get on those horses and ride girl!

That's awesome news! It's
That's awesome news! It's so important to not only like your doctor but to have faith that they are doing everything in their power. I've never heard of this doctor but obviously you got one of the best in the country. I always told my aunt (who had lung cancer) Never, never, never give up hope. We're in God's hands and God is in control. (
My husband has a joke regarding your first doctor:
What the differnce between a Nun and a nurse?
