dr.walletboy said:Get a new Doctor
I was diagnosed 2 moths ago and thought I was in good hands at USC with Dr. Fong, but I wasn't! If you have insurance or not, find another Dr. I now have one I can feel better about. Starting treatment by next week.
We seen another doctor yesterday and he gave us a small ray fo hope. We go Friday for a liver biopsy. I hope we get more good news from the biopsy.0 -
Treatment
Dear JL, I am sorry to hear about your husbands diagnosis. There is treatment options available, it takes little bit of research. For liver cancer best treatment chemo wise will be chemoembolization, it is fairly new procedure, might be affective, to stabilize liver cancer. For stomach they might consider surgery or maybe chemo as well. Johns Hopkins hospital has experience doctors, great radiology and GI team. Please research, visit their site and be your husband advocate, he will needed, believe me. My husband has advanced liver cancer. Let me know if you have more questions.God Bless...0
