Hi Everyone,
Al is home and resting. I have to say it is so nice just to watch him sleep. The nurse will be here soon to hook up the feeding tube.
To all of you who are waiting for your surgery. I IS WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT THAT HAS GOTTEN ME THIS FAR.
I STILL HAVE MY BGPS, LORI JUST IN CASE.
KEEP YOU ALL UPDATED. BETTY, DONNA, GOOSE EVERYONE ELSE WHO IS WAITING. NEVER GIVE UP HOPE. I KNOW I MUST HAVE MISSED SOME ONE.
KEEP THE FAITH
GOD BLESS
KATH

WELCOME HOME WELCOME HOME
I tried writing the other night but as you know no replys were going through. I know exactly how you feel when you brought him home, i was there just 3 months ago, You will be so protective now, wondering this and wondering that, the hardest part is when you have to leave him even for 30 minutes, but you have too, I did but it was hard, you need to know you can do it. I am sure glad your BGP came in handy I told you they would work but you had to have alot of patience, i know you did. I agree it is worth the wait for surgery but there is still the after effects, you have to deal with.
You are now a SURVIVOR OF ESOPHOGEAL CANCER, and instead of asking for help or wanting answers you will be able to give advice.
I wish you luck and know I am here.
Love and Hugs

Yeah!
Kathy,
Happy to hear Al is home....I am hoping he is continuing to do well. Sorry haven't posted sooner.....we were up in NJ last week (Charlie's mom passed away....it was a very emotional trip for him) and then I couldn't get onto the site. I was just able to catch up on all the posts and want you to know I am continuing to pray for you both.
