Frustrated with this board
I'm fed up with typing out replies only to have them disappear over and over. This is very sad when I want to give a little encouragement to someone, or add to a discussion.
I will not be posting anymore until you fix this. As long as we are all willing to put up with this ridiculous mess, no one will make it a priorty to fix it. So far I don't see anything being done. So for now I am done.
Between having the board hacked earlier and now this posting problem, I don't trust this site to be very safe. I will check back for postings that the site has been made secure and that it works again. This is a great group of people here - this is nothing personal to do with any of them. But when you have limited time and don't feel well, the frustration from this problem isn't worth it.

Kathryn, try this maybe?
They are aware of it and they are working to fix it. When one is on the internet, there is a level of expected service but the system as a whole is more complex than just typing some words and hitting send. I'm sure this comes as no surprise to you. It IS frustrating as hell but this falls under the $HIT happens category. What I have started doing is to copy my post before I try to post it, then post it a second time and it seems to appear. They do know that there is a problem and they are working on it.
As far as security goes, as soon as you turn on your computer you can kiss that goodbye. Unless you are dealing with a htpps://www site versus a http://www.site it's not secure. They make this the best they can but if some butthead wants to hack it, they will. They can hack the US Govt Military sites for crying out loud.
So, you can stop, I know it's frustrating and I've slowed with responding but they are working to fix it. If anyone puts a lot of time into making a post, copy it so you don't have to retype it.

Yes, I also recieved an e-mail that they are in the process of fixing it.
Its frustrating to all of us, but things like this are bound to happen from time to time.
I'm guessing it is not an easy fix so until then you can copy and paste like others have suggested.
I'm sure all will be well soon...

Before this happened , I'm ashamed to admit, I didn't know how to copy and paste.
I took a quick lesson on the internet.
I'm enjoying it and will serve me well in the future.
So this glitch had a positive side to it (for me anyway)!

I found long, long ago, that using a text editor to compose posts and
email, was the best way to go.
Once you have the info the way you desire, copy and paste it
into whatever media you're using.
Using programs like MS Word, will allow the text to be automatically
saved at whatever interval you set (I use EditPlus).
It's a whole helluva lot better doing it that way, than trusting your
thoughts to the whim of what may lose your valuable info without
rhyme or reason.

Hi- just testing to see if my reply to this will work or not.
Lisa
Ok- my test above did work- it's crazy that the only replies that seem to work are on the threads about not being able to post to replies- my replies won't show up on any other thread- maddening!
