My little homage to the Semis - I hope it's not too hokey

Some of you know that I'm an artist. Each year San Francisco General Hospital asks a few artists from the city to decorate a large 3-dimensional heart to be auctioned off to raise funds for the hospital. To make a long story short, I got asked this year and part way through I figured out that I could take advantage of my original design and make a subtle little homage to John and to the rest of you on this board. My little way of saying thanks for being there for both of us. I posted two photos on my "expressions" page.
The heart will go on display somewhere in the city, so if you're in town, look for it!
With love and gratitude,
Adrian

Thank you for sharing it with us.
Peace and Blessings,
Amy
Adrian, I feel so blessed that you came here, that is one of the most noble things I have ever heard, and what a gorgeous heart it is, I feel very honored that you put the semicolon there for John and us, what a wonderful warm heart YOU have, if I ever get to San Francisco, I am looking you both up, taking you all out, and wanting a pic next to that heart.
Hugsss!

WOW ; ; ;
What a beautiful piece of work Adrian. It would be worth the pilgrimage to San Francisco to see it. What an honor to be asked to do it! Thank you so much for the "semi-colon"! It fits in very nicely with the whole design theme. Congratulations on finishing the work and thank you for thinking of us all!
Peace and Blessings to you and John... Rob; in Vancouver
And may you have a day of unexpected blessings and simple joys...0 -
Adrian, that is AWESOME!
Adrian, that is AWESOME! Absolutely gorgeous. I wish you could find a jewelry company to copy the design and created necklaces or key chain fobs so semi colons worldwide could carry your heart with them.
John is a lucky guy.
Big hugs to you both today,

Beautiful Hearts!
Hello Adrian,
Beautiful hearts...the heart for the Semi-Colons and the heart that is you. Thank you so much, for honoring your partner and all CRC survivors, and for being you.
I read your profile page and I so much identify with your partner's attitude about the words he chooses and his perspective in his approach to cope with his cancer. It is a wise person indeed, who can live his/her life from a place of love and acceptance, with a desire for happiness and gratitude, especially in the most troublesome storms. I truly believe our spirits have more power to change ourselves and the world around us if we can come from a place of love and gratitude, rather than a dark place of hatred and despair. My mom said, with respect to both of us living with cancer, that it is best to live life in spite of cancer - we choose life happily, instead of fear...
You and your partner are very cool, very special people...thanks for sharing your world with us.
Steady on....
