One more thing.
and see that I can have a MRI because of a previous surgery.
I almost started crying in the waiting room, and after I found out they couldn't do it,
after I had changed and everything into the gown, I almost lost it completely.
I told the Tech/nurse that "it is just one more thing...."
and I added, "I have had alot of one more things lately, almost more than I can bear."
We will try for next week, MRI and CT.
I like the posts about laughter. I wish there was something I could laugh about right now.
blessings,
Amy

Here ya go......
I have an ostomy at the sigmoid. I was at my moms house one morning when my sis from Frankfort Ky came in to visit. I was talking and through a hand gesture I knocked off my bag. I simply grabbed my shirt and bunched it up and started to leave. When she asked what was wrong I simply replied, "I sh!t in my shirt"...That was the easy part. The shirt was brand new and I couldn't bear the thoughts of cutting it off (no buttons on it) so here I was stretching it as much as possible to keep poop away from my face and trying to get it off to clean it.....Not a good day for me......Then another night where my bag had come off and that every time I would partially wake up I would tell my wife "honey, your breath is awful", about an hour later the same "honey you have to brush your teeth your breath smells like crap". Well, when I actually woke up enough to realize what had really happened it looked like I had a hula hoop around me, yeah it was some kinda nasty. My wife and I at 5:30 in the morning had the biggest laugh we have ever had .....I still get reminded of that a lot...so see Amy, look for the laughter in things , its there, we just have to be a little sadistic to find it.......{{{{{{big hugs}}}}}} ...Clift0 -

I nearly peed myself laughing here, thanks for a good start to my morning!!!
My son and daughter had fallen asleep in my bed while we were watching a movie (we had just played some board games, and just got wiped out at night, so they fell asleep with me), and I woke up to such a smell, I thought my son had been farting, because he just likes to gross us out by doing that anyway, and I looked at him to see if he was awake, but he wasn't! So, I figured he was just passing gas in his sleep.
Well, needless to say, I felt something really wet all over my belly! I must have knocked my bag off in my sleep, and it was coming all out of me, and I got up and RAN to the bathroom, holding my hand to where the bag was half off, and my kids woke up to such a stench, seeing diarrhea streaming to the floor, this was at 3:00 a.m., I spent hours cleaning my bathroom, my bedroom, my clothes, I was so embarrassed, but my kids were just laughing because of how bad it stunk, man, we had to air those rooms out for a few days, it was just a mess! I now make sure my bag is on tightly before bed now!!
Hugsss!

I thought about that the other day.I just wasn't at a place to say it out loud.
Thanks for mirroring my sentiments.

Come colonoscopy time there is no raw butt.......scope is simple and you can actually go out while you clean out........#1 reason for being grateful about having a bag....I don't have to drink but 2 -8 oz bottles of Mag citrate to get completely cleaned out....Life is good again...Also I never have to quit fishing to go to the bank to poop.....LOL....yep, life is good..........0
