Another Update!

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm starting chemo here in the hospital tomorrow, carbolplatin and taxotere. They will keep me here for a day or two after that and then I will get to go home. I will have to do iv nutrition at home and I will have a home health nurse come once a week to deliver the iv bags and help change the dressings on my pic line. So, at least things are finally moving somewhere!! For those of you having gone through surgery recently, or awaiting surgery, my thoughts and prayers are with you!

    It's so good to hear from you Cathy! You're truly an inspiration to all of us here along with William and others that have gone through so much. Keep us updated when you can. I hope the chemo goes easy for you. I bet it will feel so good to be home! :)

    Hey Kitten,

    I,m so glad to here that you are going home. Its been so long that you have slept in you own bed. I hope that the chemo will do its job and you will be better in no time.

    Sorry to here that you are still on IV feedings hopefully the intestinal blockages will resolve themselves soon.
