good news
I am happy for you that you will have your scan results soon. My husband is 3 weeks out and starting to eat more and feeling more energized too. No PET scan for him until the 1st of Jan, tho. We are all with you - I know the feeling of confidence BUT.......
Can't wait to hear the good news.

My Radiologist has the bed side manners of Atilla the Hun.
Me......"Well Doc, what's the Pet-Scan show" ?
Doc....."Let me ask the questions first, then we might get around to yours".
After all his many mundane questions, that his nurse practioner has just asked me and my wife twenty minutes before.......he says...
Doc......."Your most recent Scan (Hell I've only had 2. One before treatment and one after) shows AS OF TODAY, no evidence of a tumor exist". He made a point of stressing "AS OF TODAY".
Wife and I were in between yelling "Hooray" and high fiveing, or just sit there numb.
Me...... "So, tommorrow it could return" ?
Doc..... "Why, of course".
Me......"and a jet plane could plow through this office within the next minute".
Doc....."Possible, but not likely. I'll need to see you in 6 months. Make an appointment at the check out. Have a good day." Walks out.
Hope you have a better presentation than the one I had.0 -

Find a new RAD man. He will be fine as long as you get clear scans but I don't want this guy making anymore decisions in my treatment. I wasn't happy with my entire team and finished my treatment then completely moved all my follow-up to a different hospital. You have to be your best advocate. The nurses were the only ones who came up to me and told me I was making the right decision. My fireplace chimney just developed a crack in the liner. I've had four companies out to give me an estimate. Each one has a diferent method of fixing it while criticizing the other's methods. All their prices are different. Cancer treatment is really no different. All I really want is honesty from my ONCOMAN.0
