I was just wondering where everyone is from? It seems like everyone is really far away mileage wise but glad that they are close in the cyberworld. We are in Tennessee just wondering if anyone was close by.

    I have a 13 yr old daughter also named Amy! I don't live near to you, though- I'm in Fallbrook, CA, which is in north San Diego County. I do have a nephew who lives in Nashville, TN, though. I was just in Tennessee for the first time on vacation this past summer & really enjoyed the area.

    Hi! Born and raised in San Diego. I'm currently living about ten miles east of downtown San Diego, and boy is it hot here today! Please send some of your cool Tennessee weather this way!!

    My maternal grandmother's entire family is in the Tennessee area. She herself was from Arkansas. They moved here in the 1950's when my grandfather was stationed at Camp Pendleton. The only other place i'd really rather live is the big island of Hawaii. The rainy side!

    ...was born and raised on Long Island, NY in a little town called Lynbrook.

    I moved out of there when I was 25 to live in Roanoke, Virginia, to raise my kids, where I thought it would be safer, cleaner and cheaper. I then broke up with my fiance at the time, my first daughters daddy, and then met my hubby just a couple years later.

    We are now in a little rural town called Middleport, Ohio, hubby grew up in Columbus, so we are closer to family, and it's a great place to raise kids, no bullying, teasing and all that, my kids are happy here. It may not have much, but it does have a nice family way about it. I still have family in New York that I'd like to see, but finances have us strapped! lol

    First 14-15 years in Astoria,Queens, next 44 or so in Brooklyn (Queens is one of the five boros of NYC,Brooklyn being another-Bronx,Manhattan and Staten island are the others which together=NYC tho when people say they're going to the "city", they mean Manhattan; butt yawl gnu that already ,,,,Steve

    Been living here for 4 yrs. I am originally canadian, but got my citizenship the week I was diagnosed with cancer. That was an interesting week.

    I live in upstate New York..About 1 1/2 hours from the city. Near Port Jervis NY..We have been on the news before...lol lol

    Born and raised in the Dallas area. I live in Lewisville which is a suburb of Dallas. It`s true - everything is bigger in Texas and we are pretty dang proud to be Texan. If you ask a Texan if they are from Texas they will say " You`re damn right!"
