I take 20 mg Levitra once a week and 5 mg four times a week for penile rehab (I cut the 20 mg into four pieces with a pill cutter. This saves a few bucks as the cost to me is the same for a 20 mg pill as for a 5 mg pill). No side effects at 5 mg. At 20 mg I do get a slight head ache. I once took 20 mg and three hours later did a hike from 9,000 feet to 10,000 feet. I became short of breath and dizzy. Now, I do not touch the 20 mg Levitra if I am going to exercise at altitude.
My understanding is that Levitra falls between Viagra and Cialas as far as side effects (with Cialas having the least side effects).
I also found Kaiser's Levitra expensive, but was able to use Tricare (military insurance)and get 18 of them for $9.00.0 -

I called several pharmacies and the cost was around $115.00 for 8 pills. I have ordered a generic for Levitra from a place on the internet called all day chemist. The price is a lot more reasonable for the generic.
For side effects I get a headache, stuffy nose which goes away in about 1 hr and sometimes a little heartburn. I found taking some extra strength tylenol about 1 hour before taking the Levitra lessens the headache.

I am taking nightly low dose Cialis for rehab, and then one night a week a full dose Cialis. I refilled my script this past week at Walmart in Boise. 32 tabs were $462 when we filled it after surgery. 20 tabs this past week at Walmart cost me $336. Wanted to buy the entire 32 tabs but could not afford it at this time.
Shame on the the drug companies for charging these prices. There should be a lower cost program for post PC sugery patients that have to utilize the drug for rehab purposes. It is not like we are purchasing it for "recrereational purposes".
Cialis side effects for me are not much when I use a half dose, but full dose leaves with a stuffy nose, and pretty significant headache in the morning. And of course for all of that, I still don't have any inclination of an erection. Makes me wonder what the hell I'm doing still paying for these overpriced drugs.0 -

Look for this book "Saving Your Sex Life: A Guide for Men with Prostate Cancer " Amazon has it. It will explain why you need to take the pills.

I was told to buy 100 mg. of Viagara. Went to Wal- mart 6 100 mg tabs were 106.00 My insurance wont cover any. Hope I dont have to take it too long, I will go broke. Take 1/2 a pill 2X a week, so this expense comes every 2 weeks. I can almost buy a car for these prices. Doctor said no generic because ingredients might differ more than I suspect, sometimes more than 25%. I never knew this but research on internet confirmed it. So I guess we will cut back on food so i can have my Viagra. Not really but its expensive as hell isnt it...Nick0 -

I would suggest going to www.alldaychemist.com on the web and ordering from there.
They will be a generic and are shipped out of India. They have a special going on and I got 60 Generic Levitra 20mg for about $86.00 including shipping. Took about two weeks to get them here in the mail.
I've not taken the generic yet but I checked with my Dr. office and they said they should be the same and had other patients using the generic. They sent me a tracking number and came via USPS. I won't start taking the generic until I run out of the free samples my Doc gave me.
I even appealed to insurance and they won't cover any cost for the pils in my plan.
The generic name for Levitra is Vardenafil, Viagra is Sildenafil Citrate, and Cialis is Tadalafil.
There are numerous men on another prostate cancer website that use the pills from www.alldaychemist.
Hope this helps0 -
Viagra while taking nitrate for CAD?
I had thought that I would not be getting into use of ED meds, because I take Imdur, a nitrate, daily for my Coronary Artery Disease, and my cardiologist says you can't take both, due to a danger of extreme low blood pressure. Have any of you taking Viagra, etc., had experience with this situation?
My follow-up with the urologist is next week, and we likely will get into this.
Thanks.

Hi. I bought a month ago, Viagra 100 mg 30 tablets for $ 99. I think that is a good price. He took here www.trustcanadianhealthcare.com (No ads)
Personally, I would never buy from overseas. For example, there is no such thing as 'generic' phosphodiesterase inhibitors (e.g., Viagra, Levitra and Cialis). Furthermore, none of these pharmacies are under FDA control; God knows what they are really putting into their 'formulations.' Even the Canadian ones are suspect. The gov. there supposedly passed a law that their pharmacies must have a Canadian prescription to dispense and no Canadian doctor can legally prescribe medicine to someone not on the national health services list. I tried to go up (Whiterock, Lower Mainland B.C.) there and see a doctor and I was told what I have mentioned here. Find a place here that is as cheap as you can find and live with it. Good luck to all!
Cheers

Hi,
I agree with lewvino.
My husband got peyronnies disease 12 years ago, he needed cialis for the first two years. We bought them from alldaychemist.com for $1. per pill. They worked the same as the Cialis you buy here. It took about 10 days to get them. They come via US mail. You must respond to an email they send you saying you are leaving the country and will only take them abroad, as they are illegal to take in the USA. I think it's an American over there who runs the company, and India has the same rules and safe guards they have right here.
I believe that the USA drug companies are putting out the scare that when you buy them from India they are not the real thing, my huband couldn't tell the difference.
Best of luck.0 -

I gave up on ED meds a long time ago, the side effects are too much for me. I even tried the shot. Ever hear "If you have an erection that last more than 4 hours"? I thought I was going to explode, I would have gone to the ER except I couldn't put on any clothes, a robe about killed me. Have any of you tried a VED (vacuum erection device), it's not just a pump but a retainer that's keep and erection until you remove it. I've been using one for at least 2 years, works every time, no side-effects. It's mechanical and not so romantic, but you get over that and it works. I can get 50 to 60 percent but the pump gives me 100% and you stay erect until you remove the retainer.
I've been a member here for 4 years but haven't been around for quite some time. I can't remember my original password and my email has changed so I had to start a new account.

not on ed drugs yet but...
My doctor gave me this online Rx site that I use for some other stuff (inexpensive). The Rxs are mailed from Canada or India (made by major drug companies)..they sell the real drugs and it is 100% legal to get this stuff via out of the country...ProgressiveRx was founded for the millions of Americans without prescription drug benefits. There goal is to provide the highest-quality drugs at the lowest possible prices, so that all Americans can afford the medications they need. They are not a pharmacy, rather provide a portal to the world's leading pharmaceutical suppliers.
If you do not see what you need you can call them and ask. Check it out http://www.progressiverx.com/store/0 -

I went to that site mentioned above: progressiverx and they sell Tadalafil (Cialis) for $2. per pill plus shipping, unless you order $99. or more. You must also send them a prescription before ordering.
No prescription needed at alldaychemist.com
I also went to the FDA page where they list what drugs not to buy outside the USA, and Tadalafil isn't on the list. Here's the list: http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/ResourcesForYou/ucm078627.htm0 -

This forum is to help folks not confuse them or push your “agenda” or “marketing”.
The selection process is a personal choice. A few days ago you suggested that I would be in harms way if I had my surgery done and not HIFU... I let you know that I found your comments offensive and one-sided and I have read posting since and you are still on this "campaign". I question what your agenda is.
Posting scare tactics about surgery compared to HIFU are not acceptable.
Now you are posting “spam” RX sites that sell everything without a prescription plus every “snake oil” on the market?
I am not going to argue law with you but it is illegal to buy prescription drugs without a prescription. FDA policy since the 1980’s has not yet changed, the agency has not interfered with importation for personal use as long as the purchaser has a prescription for the drugs being imported.
The site I provided is legitimate, sells legitimate product and was provided to me by a doctor from a major HMO in the USA on there letterhead.
I am trying to be helpful and I do not care if folks use it or not but it is legitimate information … “snake oil” is not available from their site…0
