so far all of these thoughts have gone through my head. i had my left testicle removed and thought that would take care of the problem but it hasnt. they need to go back in and take out more chords and lymph nodes, they have put me at 3b, which meens that the cancer has gone from my testicle to my stomach. im 21 years old and i have a girlfriend and we are serious but she has been taking it hard, to think that i might not be able to produce children. this is so hard. but we are all in this together. please feel free to contact me.. thank you

    Hey Emoerk,

I know how you feel. I was in the same situation as you. I was 28 when I was diagnosed. I had my left testicle removed as well. Mine spread into my lungs as well and I was very advanced. I ended up losing a kidney, both adrenal glands, gall bladder as well. I am sure your scared...I know I was. It is not definite that you can't have children,, only time will tell. But, there are other ways around that. Right now, you have to stay positive and beat this thing. Keep your family and girflfriend close and draw strength and support from them. Wishing you the best of luck!

I had my left testicle and abdominal lymph nodes removed when I was 28 and married. I lost my testicle, ten lymph nodes, my wife, and mother-in-law, but am now glad to be rid of all of them! Sometimes, what you lose is not nearly as imporatnt as what you retain, like your pride and willingness to move forward. Believe me, the women who will love you for what you have are far better than those who will reject you. By the way, I am 54 now, have visited 17 foreign countries, and am 6 hours short of my 2nd master's degree.

Stay strong, son, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Rick
