New Melanoma

"best screening technique" I have found that Just MRI WITH Contrast- is best for me. I do the PET scanning now just every 6 months instead of every 3 - they were doing PET and MRI with contrast every 3 months (For rest of life) But PET scans find only things 5 mm and bigger. But the MRI with contrast finds it as small as 1mm, so why not do the MRI WITH Contrast every 3-4 months and not always the PET because the PET Makes me kinda sick and If the MRI will find it earlier anyway. ???
Just like see, I had a PET scan done one time and 3 weeks later started having seizors, went in hospital and my Dr. had a MRI WITH CONTRAST found a brain tumor that was 3mm(smaller than what the PET could find, if they would have done the MRI with contrast in the first place, they would have found the brain tumor before I started seizors and the seziors made my right finger dead still to this date!. So now after many surgeries and all My plans are to have MRI with contrast every 3-4 months and followed by PET every 6 months. instead of Pets every 3 months. I also have basal cell cancer My Dr freezes it off with this stuff like dry ice and works very well. My Dad also has basal cell cancer for last 5 years and dr. does the same to him and works well.
