Stage IV non small cell lung cancer and lynph nodes

NSCLC w/ to Lymphs
I wont go through my whole health issues, you can check my bio for that. But as with myself they couldn't do surgery so they chose to hit me hard every 3 weeks for 8 hours with chemo to help reduce the size of the tumors and put the cancer in remission. It worked somewhat, as I have out lived the Docs prognosis. I was diagnosis with stage 4 in both lungs both NSCLC and SCLC w/ the lymphs involved in April 08, although I have a complicated health history I am still here, so dont think that you camn't battle this.
I was given three types of chemo drug they were Carboplatin, Taxol, and Avastin. They worked and bought me more time, but because of my complicated health I am Hospice now, but I am still going, a positive outlook and family/friend support system means a great deal. I realize that every person reacts to the chemo and other treatments differently, but I am sure they Docs have a treament program worked out for you.
