I Had an MAGIC Moment Overcome Me Today and Wanted to Share This With You
This is rather impromtu, but I just jumped on it and riding the wave - it touched me so deeply and moved me to tears, so I took a chance and thought I would post it.
I was reading Lizzy's post - thanks, Lizzy. (Lizzy - not going to be my last post)
Since she is from S.Carolina, I had told her "That Carolina was on my mind."
It made me think about James Taylor and I opened up my music folder and started to listen to "You've Got A Friend." It made me cry and the words struck so true to me on about how I feel towards each of you and how I have tried to be a part of your life.
I thought this song sums it up better than any post I could ever write to you.
So, as my gift to you, I have downloaded it to my Expressions page for you to listen and to enjoy - listen to the words carefully - and remember that this is how Craig FEELS about EACH OF YOU...REALLY!!!!
Just click on PLAY and continue to select SAVE a couple of times until you see OPEN - then the audio will play for YOU.
It just touched me deeply this afternoon and I had to reach out to you guys today and tell you I'm still here with you - thinking about you - our relationship - our stories - our journies - and our lives - Bless you!
And "You've Got A Friend" in Craig - ALWAYS!

Hey now, all you've got to do is call.
Lord, I'll be there, yes I will.

True friends
Oh Graig! this song brought tears to my eyes,I heard it for the first time about 3 weeks ago,
(English is not my first language) so I listen more to latin music, and that first time made and impact on me, but now coming from you it has even a more beautiful message, you are such a special person, and I want you to know that you can feel the same way from my part "You've got a Friend" here too for life.0 -
So great to have you as a friend, Craig!
Craig,
---It was so beautiful to hear the song again. It had been a long time.
Great lyrics and music. Thank you, Craig!
(P.S. I read your expressions page. I am so sorry to hear about your sister. My sister was murdered in 1996. Her name was Susan. Sharing your sorrow.)
--- It is great to have an additional family here. --- We just never know what tomorrow will bring. Hopefully tomorrow will bring more friends, new experiences and a good life). My best to you.0 -

Thank you so much for sharing that with us. You are a friend to me as well and I cherish that. This is surely a great bunch of people. Thinking and praying for your upcoming surgery next week. You probably are just anxious to be getting it over with. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and feelings - that's what friends do.

Thanks! I think you are right. This song fits well for this group of great people, and especially you!
It has been wonderful to vent, read & learn, and get support from others that "get it." This last month has been a rollercoaster for me, and wonderful people like you have truly made a difference.0 -
Learning so much from all who are part
Craig,
As a newbie I am learning so much and getting quite the vision of what is involved with this ugly cancer fight from you and others who post. I love the candor, compassion and willingness of people who come to this board. Thank you for sharing your magic moment, I am believing that this is a place to find true friendship and support! I am so glad I happened by! I know I will be here a while, just getting started!
Thanks again0 -

You are all very dear to me and you Craig have been able to put that emotion into a song for us all to share. Thanks Craig and to all on this board who so readily give of their time and from the heart. I will continue to pray for all of us.

music
You've got a friend here also. Music has been a love of mine. It moves me in ways other things don't. My son can play the guitar, wish I was talented that way. The people that are in my support groups are like my second family, there's a special bond there. Hope everyone has a good day today!0 -
The New Semi;Colon ANTHEM
Well, thank you so much, Everybody!!!
We're all in agreement then - this song is now our Semi;Colon ANTHEM, then?
I think this song IS JUST SO MUCH US!!!
I've been listening to the song again over and over this morning as I read these posts and I find it to be a very warm and comforting feeling in my heart and soul.
For the rest of my life, anytime that I hear this song anywhere in the world and at any time, I will always be reminded of the SEMIS and this special moment in time when we were all connected to each other and alive in each other's hearts
And doesn't that feel SO GOOD?
Well, I'm so glad that I could brighten your day like that - it just came over me in a rush...it's amazing how life can work when we are dialed into the wonderment and opportunities that comes our way and when we are OPEN to sharing and receiving.
And each time that I "connect with you" just gets better and better as our relationship continues to GROW and GROW and become stronger with each passing post....it's just a beautiful thing.

Great idea Craig!
Every time I hear that song either by Carol King or JAmes Taylor I, too, will think of all My Semis and send up a prayer for those here and those who have gone before us! That song will never be the same again because it will bear the faces that I have come to love on this board.
