Epitome of Blind Faith
BE TAUGHT TO FLY`
When you come to the end of all the
light you know, and it's time to step
into the darkness of the unknown,
faith is knowing that one of two things
shall happen: Either you will be given
something solid to stand on or you will
BE TAUGHT TO FLY.
by
Edward Teller
I WAS TAUGHT TO FLY JUST ASK MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
This is a Poem that I keep posted at work and at home. To me it shows the epitome of Blind Faith. Thanks for letting me share.

What if there is nothing there and you fall. That's a possibility too
;-)
Gravity is a funny thing, if you fall I was taught you pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and ride the ride if that's what you want to do. If not move on. Kind of play the hand your dealt or fold. I have been given 11 almost 12 years clean and clear time. I have enjoyed all of it even the rough crappy times when we have normal family life struggles. I remember everytime I threw up, sat on the pot, missed my kids extra activities, missed my friends my life, my family, I know what I was given. I just wish I felt like I was given back tenfold like it was given to me. Thanks for all your wit it keeps this board a rollin sometimes.LOL Make it a Great Day!!! Goofyladie (Cass)0 -

what you are trying to say??? Would you elaborate? Not sure of the blind faith part. Thanks.

When dealing with chemo for me, my first doctor told me he was going to give me chemo and radiation and make me as comfortable as possible.
He already had me in my death bed.
My second doctor told me he was gonna make sick, make me very sick, may even take me to deaths door, but he would do everything in his power to keep me from passing thru. He held my hand as he told me. He shared his family and his life with his children. The next breath he also told me to get my things in order and make sure I say the things and share the things I needed to share with my children. He put in me in basically a coma state twice on chemo shutting all my functions down. At one point, I was so sick he ordered a hospital bed and put it in his office so he could keep an eye on me himself instead of the hospital, so he could care for his other patients also. He was absolutely the best human beings I have ever met. My husband got to know him well, while I was sleeping.
But I am here almost 12 years later clear of cancer today. Because I had blind faith. The cancer had gone thru 16 of the 32 lymphnodes removed I had a right hemi colectomy and a grapefruit sized mass removed.
The medical profession chose that I was going to die. There was no statistics (solid ground) at that time for a 31 year old female with colon cancer much less that severe.(Blind faith), I jumped into Chemo.0
