Anyone out there ? Survivors from the 60's ... I am, and never thought I'd be here today. 3 Secondary Cancers result of Primary Cancer in 1963. More so now that I'm older, I have trauma about the past ?? It is unfortunate children did not get recognition nor guidance. I was told to forget I had Cancer, not encouraged to talk about it ever. I remember not being able to read, and keep up with my peers. No Adult really cared. I was pretty, so a man would take care of me one day. No plan, no dream. My mind a mass state of confusion. I work harder than ever today to keep my secret.

Hi there,
I'm glad you've found this gem of a website to share your feelings and emotions. You've come to the right place, most definitely, please do NOT keep these feelings inside, there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of from having cancer, nor any real good logical reason not to share your recovery and emotions with others.
